**The vacancy**

**Scope and Purpose of the Role**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Team Leadership**: Lead and manage a high-performing team, ensuring the delivery of a professional and customer-focused service. You will motivate, develop and coach team members, assessing performance an workload to ensure efficiency across the team.
- **Data Administration**: Provide high-quality student data-related administration services such as administration of online and paper-based exams processes and activities, and access arrangements, adhering to statutory body policies and regulations.
- **Stakeholder Engagement**: Liaise with key internal and external stakeholders to ensure the team’s functions are met, consulting with internal stakeholders on your technical expertise, and advising the Business Manager as required.
- **Data Systems Management**: Use and maintain the college’s student data systems, ensuring data accuracy and timeliness.
- **Training Delivery**: Prepare training materials and deliver effective training and support to team members, develop and deliver exams-related training to the group.
- **Business Transformation**: Identify and drive business transformation initiatives to simplify processes and reduce workload. Contribute significantly to the development of the department’s self-assessment report.
- **Project Work**: Lead or assist in project work supporting the group’s strategic plan.
- **Funding Methodologies**: Stay updated with relevant funding methodologies and procedures, cascading changes to staff and revising processes as required.
- **Audit Support**: Play a key role in supporting internal and external audits, working with senior managers to support group quality processes.

**Essential Criteria**:

- Level 4 or higher qualification in a relevant discipline or equivalent appropriate experience/technical expertise within the education sector.
- GCSE English and Maths at grade /4 or higher.
- Proven experience in leading and managing a high-performing team, including performance management and staff development.
- Maintaining expert knowledge in funding methodologies, and a strong understanding of student data-related administration and data management.
- Excellent customer service skills with a professional and customer-focused approach.
- In-depth working experience of using IT tools to work efficiently and accurately.
- Ability to liaise effectively with a range of stakeholders.
- Strong organisational and workload management skills.
- Demonstrated ability to drive business transformation and process improvement.
- Excellent communication, reporting and analytical skills.
