**About your role**

We, at Serco, are looking to recruit a Business Support Apprentice to support our Executive Leadership Team by providing an efficient and streamlined service regarding a variety of related tasks.

**Your key accountabilities**

The role will see you developing professional relationships with colleagues eager to share their knowledge, helping you to grow within a friendly team and is the perfect opportunity for someone who has a willingness to learn and develop their administrative skills.

As part of this role, you will be responsible for general office and administrative support, preparing and attending meetings while liaising with wider Serco stakeholders.

You’ll contribute to team responsibilities including health & safety, office management, archiving and other processes. You will file and scan confidential minutes and papers, order office supplies and be the main point of contact in respect to orders and queries.

As you gain more experience, your role will become more challenging and varied with more autonomy to take on tasks.

**More about you**

Liaising with colleagues and external customers at different levels is a vital part of this role, therefore, interpersonal skills along with customer care skills with the ability to adapt communication style are highly desirable.

Good administrative skills and an eye for attention to detail with a working knowledge MS Office (including Word, Outlook, and Excel) and a basic understanding of financial procedures along with the willingness to learn to use financial systems are key to be successful in this role.

It is essential that you can travel daily to Hook office and arrive on time for work. (Subject to Covid-19 social distancing arrangements).
