**Job Title: Learning Support Tutor (Special Educational Needs/Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) - Home Setting**

**Location**: Bordon

**Hours**: 15 hours per week 9-12pm Monday to Friday

**Contract Type**: Part-time, Immediate Start, self-employed or employed

**Job Overview**:
We are seeking a dedicated Learning Support Tutor to join our team, providing crucial support to learners with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) challenges. This role will be based in a home setting, collaborating closely with a qualified teacher to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment for our students.

**Responsibilities**:

- **Individualised Learning Support**:

- Implement differentiated teaching strategies to accommodate various learning styles.
- **Working collaboratively with teacher**:

- Work in tandem with the lead tutor to deliver a comprehensive support system.
- Regularly communicate progress, challenges, and strategies to the primary tutor.
- **Behavioural and Emotional Support**:

- Provide guidance and assistance to students in managing emotional and behavioural challenges.
- Foster a positive and nurturing atmosphere to enhance overall well-being.

**Qualifications and Requirements**:

- **Enhanced DBS on the Update Service**:

- A valid enhanced DBS check on the Update Service is mandatory.
- **References**:

- Provide two professional references attesting to the your suitability for the role.
- **Experience and Qualifications**:

- Previous experience working with SEN/SEMH students is highly desirable.
- Relevant qualifications in education or special education.
- **Availability**:

- Must be available for an immediate start.
- Flexible to work morning shifts for 15 hours per week.
- **Communication Skills**:

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with the lead teacher and other professionals.
