Global Head of Documents Technology

Citi’s Innovation Lab is a software development greenhouse hosting cutting edge projects, breaking new ground. This role is to lead development of Citi's core document management systems which is responsible for storage, authoring, securing, distribution, and processing all of Citi’s client documents and is a core system for the bank. Citi is looking for an experienced Development Manager to lead the global team as the technology base grows and expands into more areas of AI, NLP and Automation. Citi's Institutional Clients Group (ICG) is comprised of diverse, talented professionals located in more than 90 countries, jurisdictions and territories globally, this role will be delivering technology across the entire group. **Responsibilities**: - Lead global development and architecture team - Lead the long-term vision for the platform’s architecture - Manage/develop multiple teams of professionals to accomplish established goals and conduct personnel duties for team (e.g. performance evaluations, hiring and disciplinary actions) as well as ensure team adheres to best practices and process Develop vision for team around roles and responsibilities, and structure team to ensure greatest impact, efficient use of resource, and alignment to business structures - Prepare and present regular team/project reviews to senior management and business leaders - Drive the design and development of system architecture, work with end-users of the systems, and enhance the quality of deliverables Ensure staff follows Citi documented policy and procedures as well as maintain desktop procedures and supporting documentation for filings on a current basis and in comprehensive manner - Ensure change is managed with appropriate controls, documentation, and approvals including implementation of new and revised regulatory reporting requirements Lead and deliver local staff forums, present global, regional, and location news and updates to engage team in the progress of organization - Contribute to defining and implementing best practices and processes for the department and ensure transparency and consistency across teams **Qualifications and Experience**: - 15+ years of relevant experience - 8-10+ years of managerial experience - Leading and delivering with global teams - developing highly scalable and resilient systems - Demonstrated leadership, management, and development skills - Wide range of programming languages and latest technology - Cloud platforms and architectures - Working with NLP and AI technologies - Experience with integrating 3rd party tooling and platforms **Education**: - Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience - Master’s degree preferred - **Job Family Group**: Technology - **Job Family**: Applications Development - **Time Type**: Full time - Citi is an equal opportunity and affirmative action employer.
