I am seeking a motivated and skilled Data Analyst to join a highly innovative, IT-driven organisation based in Bolton city centre.
This is a unique opportunity to play a critical role in shaping and defining a new team within the company, to make a significant impact on their success and growth moving forward.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Gather, process, and analyse large sets of data to identify trends and insights
- Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and visualisations using Power BI
- Write complex SQL queries to extract data from various data sources
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their data needs and provide solutions to meet those needs
- Continuously monitor data accuracy and make recommendations for improvements
- Stay current with new technologies and methodologies to help drive the growth of our Data Analytics function
**Qualifications**:
- Strong experience working with SQL and Power BI
- Proven ability to analyse and manipulate large datasets to extract insights and communicate findings to stakeholders
- Experience working with cross-functional teams and collaborating with business stakeholders to understand their needs and provide solutions
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently, take initiative, and drive projects to completion
