**Job tile: RTT Coordinator (Referral To Treatment coordinator) Data Analyst

**Salary**: £19,500 to £21,750 (Depending on Experience)
Hours: Mon - Friday 37.5hrs per week 8-6pm
Location: Bolton BL1 (Office Based)

**Duties include**:

- To develop an in-depth knowledge and understanding of NHS Referral to Treatment guidance, and to become the first point of contact for all levels of staff, providing support and advice
- To investigate, resolve and correct data quality issues identified by using electronic hospital information systems to establish pathway data for individual patients in accordance with agreed practices and standards
- To support the RTT Supervisor to enable highly accurate submissions of key performance indicators to the Department of Health
- To have a key role in the development of new systems and techniques for routinely auditing data to identify irregularities
- To plan and organise own work schedule, demonstrating good time management and ensuring anticipated difficulties in meeting deadlines are reported promptly
- To attend relevant meetings and represent the RTT team as requested
- To take on additional RTT related tasks aimed at improving RTT data capture and accuracy.

**Essential Skills**:

- A sound knowledge of patient or customer databases
- Excellent data input
- Experience of handling large volumes of patient/customer records and data
- A good knowledge of Microsoft Office packages, particularly Excel
- An understanding of the issues/challenges surrounding data accuracy
- Excellent accuracy and attention to detail
- Experience in managing own workload and working well to deadlines
- Analytical approach to problem solving
- Excellent communication skills
