Here at Innovative Technology, we have a unique opportunity for an experienced HR Officer/HRBP to join our People and Resourcing team.This newly created role is full time (part time considered) and based at our Head Office in Oldham, Manchester with optionsfor hybrid working (post probation).

**About the People Business Partner role**:
Picking up from the People and Resourcing Executive at the point a new colleague joins the team, the People Business Partner tracks and drives progress through probation and the employee lifecycle to maximise the employee experience and engagement acrossall functions including overseas teams. Typical tasks and responsibilities will include:

- Preparation for new colleagues; liaising with line managers to plan inductions
- Interim reviews with new joiners providing feedback to stakeholders
- Probation reviews, ensuring new colleagues are the right hire administrating confirmations on behalf of line managers
- Encouraging all employees to drive their own continued development
- Supporting line managers with general HR needs such as disciplinaries and grievances, investigations, etc.
- Maintaining employee records in line with departmental standards and GDPR requirements
- Facilitating the appraisal process, ensuring actions are agreed and followed up, escalating issues to the People & Resourcing Manager
- Supporting line managers with PDPs and PIPs based on company policies and procedures.
- Liaising with educational establishments/suppliers to ensure service delivery standards are met
- Responding to requests for training support ensuring most effective solutions are available, appropriate for the business and within budgets
- Overseeing the offboarding process, ensuring all exits are run smoothly, all relevant stakeholders are aware and leavers depart with the best impression

**Qualifications needed to become our People Business Partner**:

- Whilst a CIPD qualification or higher education in HRM would be valued, the post holder must have hands on experience in dealing with all aspects of the employee lifecycle

**Skills & Experience required to become our People Business Partner**:

- Experience of working in a front-line HR role (Senior Administrator, HR Officer, HRBP or similar)
- Effective communication and influencing skills, to deal with colleagues at all levels
- Excellent attention to detail, integrity and discretion
- Excellent IT skills, in particular MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and ability to learn new systems quickly
- Strong administration, organisational, communication, collaboration and time management skills
- Coaching skills
- CIPD qualification or working towards this
- Experience of supporting HR needs of overseas colleagues
- Learning needs analysis
- Mentoring
- Case management
- HRM systems
