**Hello**

We are Capital Dog Care. Established in 2009, we are doggy day care company that provides countryside fun for North London dogs, and - good news for anyone that loves dogs and the great outdoors - due to expansion, we are looking to recruit an ace driver/dog carer to join our team.

So, firstly - your working day - you will:

- Drive your purpose-built dog mobile to collect our clients’ dogs from their homes and then drive them up to our countryside retreat. Our clients live in Stoke Newington, Highbury, and Finsbury Park (you will pick up dogs from one of these locations) and you’re welcome to take your van home with you in the evening.
- Help supervise the dogs, keeping them safe, happy, stimulated, fed, watered, warm / cool etc.
- Pitch in with the day-to-day tasks that come with working at a day care.
- Contribute to our social media efforts. Dog lovers - and your clients in particular - always want to know what sort of fun the dogs are having. You can find us on Facebook and Instagram.
- Then it's home time. You will drive back into London to drop tired and happy dogs off to their owners.

If you are the right person for our job, you will need to show us the following:

- First, foremost, and unsurprisingly, you are bonkers about dogs and be a capable handler of them.
- You will be part of a close-knit group of dog lovers, so being a good team player is essential.
- You are an exceptional driver. Previous van driving experience is not a pre-requisite but being a confident and capable driver absolutely is. Your driving license MUST be for vehicles with a manual gearbox.
- You are happy to spend time in the great outdoors irrespective of the weather - rain or shine, hot or cold - and you are physically capable.
- You are great with customers. You will be face-to-face with many of our lovely clients when you pick up and drop off the dogs, so a charming disposition and being able to speak good English are essential qualities.
- You will need to have common sense, be 110% reliable and not have a criminal record. We will also ask you to provide us with references and you will be police-checked.

In return, we are offering:

- A starting salary of £24,000 plus an annual £1,000 bonus.
- Working hours are 8:00am-5:45pm, Monday to Friday, with an hour off for lunch.
- No work at the weekends, no work on bank holidays, no work over the entire Christmas period (our last day of the year is usually the 23rd December).
- The opportunity to work with lovely dogs in a happy environment.
