**Maintenance Person**

The Beeches Care Home is looking for that special someone who will take pride in the home they help to maintain. Someone who will love working as part of a wider team while being supportive to your colleagues as well as our residents and their families. Most importantly, you will feel proud to be the home’s Maintenance Person. We are extremely proud of our teams, and we will help you feel proud of the work you do too by sharing successes and warmly welcoming you into our extended family.

You will have at least one years experience in general maintenance tasks and basic repairs including electrical, plumbing, joinery, building tasks and decorating of rooms to maintain the standards of the home. You’ll be responsible for key tasks such as the maintenance of heating and lighting, the overall fabric of the building, regular checks on the boiler and water systems and completing all relevant health and safety checks.

This is a special role because it gives you the chance to make a difference to our residents' lives every day. From helping residents hang pictures in their rooms, moving furniture, collecting prescriptions or assisting the team to decorate the home for special occasions, this is a role where you can demonstrate your natural values of being Proud, Supportive and Caring.

Enhanced DBS Disclosure check.
Proof of eligibility to work in the UK.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 27.5 per week

**Salary**: From £10.50 per hour
