**To support a gentleman with a great social calendar, live as independently as possible.**

**Duties: To**
- To support a young gentleman within his own home living with Cerebral Palsy.
- The hours of 30 hours per week are available, with the occasional additional ad-hoc hours.
- Driver is preferred
- Provide support and assistance to individuals in their daily activities
- Assist with personal care tasks
- Help with meal preparation and supporting to eat.
- Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals
- Monitor and record day to day activities. and report any changes or concerns
- Support him transfers using a hoist
- Provide companionship and emotional support.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment

**Hours**
- 30 hrs a week
- Mix of day and overnights

**Qualifications**:

- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of Moving and Handling
- Ability to provide compassionate care and support
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and covering holidays
