Resident Medical Officer

As Resident Medical Officer, you’ll play a crucial role providing on call and day shift cover for Cygnet Churchill

Cygnet Churchill, in south / central London, is a 57 bed inpatient mental health hospital for men. Cygnet Churchill has four wards including an emergency acute admissions service (Juniper Ward) and three high dependency inpatient rehabilitation services (Elm Court, Maple Court and Mulberry Court)..

**You'll be covering a mix of out of hours on call (5pm - 9am / weekends) and day shifts on the acute wards, with access to Consultant advice**

On calls are completed from home but the post holder would be required to come into the service as needed, so the ability to travel is essential

**We are looking for someone who is...**
- Fully GMC registered & MBBS (or equivalent) qualified
- An excellent clinical decision maker, with sound judgement, the ability to manage risk & know when to ask for help
- Preferably experienced in Psychiatry
- Able to work as part of a multidisciplinary team
- A first-rate communicator who can interview, assess & treat patients & write clear, comprehensive medical notes
- Committed to continued professional development
