Betsi Cadwaladr University Health board is embarking on a long-term system wide approach to developing its Culture, Leadership and Engagement to reflect our commitment to compassionate leadership and restorative, just and learning culture principles. To help deliver on this exciting opportunity to shape the culture work in BCUHB, we are looking for someone with experience of supporting staff and/or service users to speak up and have their concerns taken seriously, to be our Lead Freedom to Speak Up Guardian.
You will be someone who can quickly establish strong and positive relationships and work comfortably with people with diverse experiences, needs and backgrounds. Able to work to deadlines, and write board level reports on the progress of Speak Up Safely and the work of the Freedom to Speak Up Guardians, you will network across staff groups and build and maintain good relationships with our Trade Union partners and other stakeholders.
Working in a values-based way, ideally with prior experience of working in a Freedom to Speak Up Guardian role or similar, you will take the lead for our Freedom to Speak Up Guardian offer and work alongside senior colleagues in our Speak Up Safely team and more widely, in implementing our approach and action plan within the organisation.
