**Location**: Newbury (Hybrid working)

**Role Purpose**

Working within the Risk Business Partnering team to drive and create a communications plan supporting the Risk strategy and promoting the culture of the function across the wider business. By building the profile of the team across a variety of audiences you will provide knowledge, advice and challenge and make the complex, simple.

**What will you be doing?**

As a 2nd line Risk Business Partner, you will forge strong relationships throughout the business, provide oversight and support the delivery of a robust and effective Vodafone UK risk management framework that protects our customers, people, and our business.
You’ll also be the lead for the team on promoting the importance of effective risk management and culture by developing and delivering a risk communications and training plan including content and scheduling across multiple media and audiences.
- Support the delivery a robust risk management framework, with supporting processes and tools that help the business deliver effective strategies to manage risk.
- Forge and maintain strong relationships across the company to help foster an informed and effective network of 1st line risk representatives across the breadth of our organisation.
- Provide knowledgeable and impartial advice to the 1st line to support owners identify, manage and controls risk effectively.
- Challenge and support the business where risk management activities are missing or ineffective.
- Provide high quality material to support the Risk and Compliance Committee in its oversight of risk management across the business including adherence to the risk management framework.
- Help influence the Group Risk Management team, and support wider information sharing of risks across Vodafone Group.

**Who are we looking for?**
- Experience in Risk Management, Audit, Assurance, or Compliance would be beneficial but not essential.
- Experience in creating communications and training material tailored to varied audiences.
- Strong stakeholder management experience is a must, along with clear communication skills (both written and verbal).
- Confident in communicating with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation, from individual interactions to large numbers.
- Ability to deal with complex technical issues that may need to be translated into simple language.
- Ability to work both collaboratively within a team and independently to deliver on assigned individual projects/tasks.
