Operations Administrator

**Morrison Energy Services** is looking for an **Operations Administrator** to assist and support our Operations team in the Caldicot office as part of our Electrical Transmission Division. This is a new role which is office based in Caldicot, NP26, with plenty of opportunity for personal development and growth within the organisation.
The Electrical Transmission team predominantly works with National Grid, along with private enterprise clients on equipment replacement and new build electricity substations.
We are looking for a self-motivated individual who is keen to start or progress their career in this type of industry, share their ideas for improvements and demonstrate a real enthusiasm for learning and development.
**Here are some of the key areas you will get involved with**:
- Document control, preparation, formatting and proof-reading
- Point of interface for office management and office H&S matters
- Assisting with procurement of goods, services and materials for our project sites
- Maintenance of the asset register, stores and inventory control
- Monitoring pool vehicle usage and maintaining driver registers
- Creation of SharePoint forms
- Creating and updating project organisation charts
- Updating holiday and resource trackers
- Administrative support to Site Managers as required - including but not limited to: scanning documentation, arranging courier collections and deliveries; stationery supplies; filing documents; updating training registers
- Assisting the Operational Support Manager with project resourcing and onboarding administration
**You will need**:
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Strong planning and organisational skills and the ability to prioritise your workload accordingly
- Experience in office administration
- Strong literacy and numeracy skills (GCSE Maths and English or equivalent)
- Full driving licence
