The role will also support the Executive Director of Operations acting as the link between the Operations directorate and the wider Trust, overseeing project delivery, performance reporting, business case development, business planning and risk management.

Support the Trust and System Partnership Directors in communicating the organisation’s strategic aims, objectives, and priorities both internally and externally; this may involve communicating about significant changes.

Lead on external system wide partnership working in operational forums including Local Resilience Forums

Lead co-ordination with other managers to ensure effective communication and engagement with any staff within portfolio, including those outside of the direct line management remit.

Use strategic thinking and learning to help lead service development, proactively initiating and driving organisational development and change.

Contribute to planning discussions with the Integrated Care Board and Integrated Care Partnerships, around areas of responsibility specifically EPRR

Develop plans for the area of responsibility that are directly linked to the Trust’s strategic objectives, the 3 ICSs and reflect national workforce priorities

Drive quality and cost improvements through the division and support services by identifying and supporting new improvement initiatives

Work with the Executive Director and Deputy Director of Operations to oversee the development of Annual Budget Setting process ensuring Organisational Efficiency Plans are developed and delivered across areas of responsibility.

Create, foster and lead a fair, open, inclusive environment where excellence can be delivered through people and all parts of the workforce are enabled to meet required performance standards.
