A leading multi model logistics business is looking for a Traffic Planner to join their Manchester office. As an experienced Traffic Planner you will assist in planning routes; managing drivers and ensuring the fleet are maintained.
As a Traffic Planner you will assist with the day to day running of vehicles to ensure prompt and on time deliveries to customers. You will be required to update transport systems to track vehicle, trailer and job status to meet delivery timings. You will ensurevehicles and trailers are serviced and MOT'd before being used and assist drivers in managing their hours and break requirements to be compliant at all times. You will also be required to assist drivers and customers with queries and any issues that ariseduring a route.
The role will be based in their Manchester depot and the working hours will be 4 on 4 off; 12 hour day shifts. During the training period their will be a necessity to be flexible potentially working Sunday - Thursday or Monday - Friday. On offer is a salaryof £26,000 - £30,000 per annum depending on experience as well as additional salary benefits and opportunities for further earnings upon completing probation.
