With over 10,300 colleagues globally and around 1000 in the UK & Ireland we are growing significantly and seeking out the very best talent to join the SYSTRA signature team and be part of leading the way in infrastructure design.ContextWe currently have an opportunity for a Senior Planner to join our growing engineering team to support a Major Infrastructure Project .This position within our team will suit a committed and ambitious Senior Planner who can demonstrate strong leadership and interpersonal skills combined with commercial awareness and the ability to play their part in growing a dynamic high-performance team. With a focus on the design of High-Speed rail infrastructure , the post-holder will be part of a growing team of UK management staff delivering projects for a diverse portfolio of UK clients.The Senior Planner will be accountable for the planning of the programme on a project ensuring:E xperience in P rimavera and has managed large teams within a busy environmentIdentifying , analysing and delivering solutions for the client and project teamRobust, Accurate Reporting both internally and externallyGood relationships are maintained with all external parties to enhance the reputation of the companyMissions/Main DutiesWorking in collaboration with our partners and sub-contractors , the Senior Planner wi ll be involved in a variety of tasks such as :Building relationships with limited set of common clients and maintain regular client contact.Represent Project Controls, attend and present during client progress meetings.Producing compliant programmes that are logically robust, cost and resource loaded and covers the full scope of work across all stages of the project.Provision of project performance data, project schedules and reports in a concise and timely mannerEnsure all planning processes and procedures are fully implemented on the projectIdentify project risks, deviations and slippage s; reports and communicat es issues to senior members of the Project Controls and Project Management team.Understand the workload, prioritising and allocating work.Identification and management of key input and output milestones,Identification of key internal interfaces and third-party interfaces.C heck programme achievements and provide constructive feedback, leadership and management.Analyse current and future workloads to ensure Planning commitments can be achievedConduct Risk workshops and undertake Schedule Risk analysis , present resultsEnsure Earned Value Management processes are followed data analysis and trend analysis.Provide regular supervision to junior members of the team as requiredS afetySYSTRA Ltd and its employees subscribe to the six key Industry Safety Rules.Commitment (Safety is the first consideration in everything we do, if it isn't safe, we don't do it)Leadership (Safety begins at the top - we walk the talk and set a visible example)Openness (Safety is openness - information is shared and investigation conclusions are open to all parties)Reporting (Safety is knowledge - we report every incident and take immediate remedial action)Responsibility (Safety is everyone's responsibility - we learn from mistakes and will not tolerate negligence)Measurement (Safety needs a common measure - we shall use lost time, accidents and other appropriate measures )The post holder is responsible for :Their own safety and the safety of all employees and contractors;Be a role model for safety through strict compliance with safety requirementsProfile/SkillsFlexibility in working hours will be required to meet the demands of the roleAbility to travel to client sites and other SYSTRA offices will be requiredWhy SYSTRA?Our three core values: Excellence, Connected Teams and Bold Leadership are kept at the heart of everything we do.
