Locum Contracts Legal Assistant - Hybrid Working - 3 months initially - Up to £20 per hour Umbrella - West Midlands - ASAP Start

Duties may include:

- Work across Legal teams with any administrative tasks such as bundling and legal research
- Open and close cases on the Case Management system
- Drafting instructions to Counsel with support of Solicitors
- Drafting documents for Court
- Assisting with contracts, leases, licensing, prosecutions and property matters
- Reviewing existing contracts to fit for the Council’s purpose including construction contracts, collateral warranties and procurement of services under framework agreements
- Supporting procurement, commercial and governance advice on a range of projects from start to finish
- Advising on a range of local government law issues, including governance arrangements for shared services, data protection and freedom of information
- Drafting agreements including grant and loan agreements, service level agreements and all other formal documentation including NEC and JCT contracts

An attractive hourly rate of up to £20 per hour Umbrella is offered for this position dependant on experience.
