**Locum Research Contracts Manager
- Remote Working - Up to £45 per hour umbrella - East Midlands**

Venn Group’s specialist legal team are currently working with an ambition University in the East Midlands who are recruiting for a **Locum Research Contracts Manager**to join their department.

Hourly rate**:Up to £45 per Hour**

Working pattern**:Remote Working + Full Time**

(Note that those with the relevant experience who can only work on a part time basis will also be considered)

Duties may include:

- Reviewing and negotiating a diverse portfolio of research and consultancy contracts and agreements for clients based on non-standard terms and conditions, ensuring compliance with current legislation and internal policies and procedures
- Working extensively on a variety of agreements including Grant, Collaboration, Studentship and Data sharing agreements and NDAs as required
- Dealing with MTAs, Sub-contracts, Contract extensions and variations
- Acting as first point of contact for formal action with funders or partners
- Managing and maintaining records to provide a clear audit trail and accessibility for management information
- Preparing and editing research and consultancy contracts and agreements based around model documents
- Modifying previously accepted documents to ensure that they are relevant and effective in creating enforceable legal rights to protect the University
- Carrying out due diligence of partners and collaborators
- Working pro-actively with employees at all levels across the University and with external stakeholders to ensure that research and consultancy contracts and agreements are correctly understood and that risks are mitigated

An attractive hourly rate of up to **£45** is offered for this position dependant on experience.**Locum Research Contracts Manager
