We are looking for a Ward Clerk to join the Children's Ward Clerk team in Colchester Hospital on a part time basis. The role will involve working with experienced ward clerks on the Children's Outpatient Department.
This is part time 22.5 hours per week, fixed term/ secondment post until 31st December 2025. Possibility to extend to March 2026
Consistent provision of higher level, comprehensive and efficient secretarial and administrative support. To utilise and incorporate the required technology/hospital systems including Big Hand/PAS/Evolve/Lorenzo and any other new technology or system(s) that are introduced including demand/capacity tools.
To provide a role in the smooth organisation of the department and an advanced secretarial/administration service to the medical teams. Using own initiative, managing, prioritising, planning and organising own time using extensive knowledge, skills and experience.
