Construction Estimator

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Construction Estimator to join our dynamic team.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Review project plans, specifications, and other documents to prepare detailed cost estimates.
- Analyse labour, materials, and time requirements for each project.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, and contractors to gather necessary information.
- Prepare and present cost reports and budget breakdowns to Ashfields team.
- Identify and quantify cost factors, such as production time and raw material, equipment, and labour expenses.
- Evaluate bid specifications and drawings, ensuring that all details are accurate and complete.
- Prepare bids, proposals, and contract negotiation documents.
- Maintain relationships with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain the best pricing.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in construction technology and materials.

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience as a Construction Estimator,
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and cost estimating methods.
- Excellent mathematical and analytical skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Effective communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.

Pay: Up to £55,000.00 per year
