**We have a fantastic opportunity for a Property Acquisition Manager to join our growing UK retail business, reporting to our CEO.** It’s an exciting time to join us here at B&M. We are one of the UK’s fastest growing retailers and a member of the FTSE 100. With over 700 UK Stores, and plans for continued growth at a rate of 40-50 new stores per annum. The role will require 2 days per week at our Support Centre in Speke, Liverpool. **The key accountabilities in the role are**: - Interact with Directors, Estates Team and report to the CEO - Issuing & agreeing Heads of Terms for the acquisition of "big box" retail units both standalone and in retail parks on a leasehold basis - Responsibilities for property due diligence and contract negotiations of leases and agreements for leases - Producing final reports for Director approval prior to transacting - Ensuring transactions are progressed simply and 'at B&M speed’ **The skills/experience required are**: - An experienced Property Acquisition Manager/Director, ideally in OOT retail, competent to work at pace - B&M is the UK’s 2nd largest occupier of retail parks and targets 1 million sq feet of new space every year. You must have the energy to handle personally c.20 acquisitions a year - Gravitas, with the ability to negotiate well and commercially, always focused on the end result - Tenacious with sound business judgement, able to question and challenge based on sound rationale and fact - Awareness of the competitor market to ensure delivery of best-in-class commercial deals - Approachable, with the ability to work autonomously and decisively - B&M are an equal opportunities employer.
