An opportunity has arisen for a talented Electronic Development Engineer to join one of the UK’s leading manufacturers of laser and aesthetic equipment to the medical, cosmetic, and beauty industries. As a key technical member of the R&D team, you will responsible for the definition, design, development, verification, validation and support of company products alongside maintaining the ISO13485 quality framework via defined product processes.
**As Electronic Development Engineer, your responsibilities will include**:

- Working with the R&D engineering manager and Design Engineer to evaluate/agree Hardware elements of the system design via functional, behavioural, and physical architectures, along with justifications of associated trade-offs.Generate design documentation(assumptions, calculations, references) for electronic Hardware elements of the system design.
- Developing the electronic HW design as required until successful Hardware verification is achieved. Constructing prototypes and develop testing to verify performance.
- Working with the Test Engineer to verify system requirements are met during full system integration (Hardware & Software), system verification and validation.
- Working with the Test Engineer to establish electrical hardware construction and verification procedures.
- Supporting the identification of product training needs and generation of associated technical documentation i.e. User manual, service manual, training material.
- Supporting technical aspects of the transition into Business As Usual (BAU) departments i.e. manufacturing, service, and clinical training.

**What we are looking for in an Electronic Development Engineer**:
The ideal person will have the following experience and skills, however if you’re interested but you’re missing some of these - we’d still love to hear from you as you’ll receive plenty of investment in training and development in this company.
- Experienced with product design/development. (essential)
- A good awareness of electrical hardware and circuit board design: Schematic capture, PCB layout and manufacture. (essential)
- Proficient use of PCB design tools (Altium Designer or other EDA/ECAD software).
- Proven ability to analyse and interpret measured results and solve problems.
- Experience with power circuit and voltage regulator design
- Circuit simulation techniques and tools.
- Proven use of electronic HW measurement tools and techniques.
- Proven experience in prototype construction, test, and development to meet the desire requirements.

The role is based from the manufacturing facility near Crewe, Cheshire, and early days you’ll need to be there more often than not, however hybrid and flexible and working patterns can be available.
