**About the role**:
The Head of Procurement is a newly created position and will have overall management responsibility for all the procurement activities for our client. You will work closely with the Finance, Operations, Programme Management and Property teams, as well as front line colleagues and other head office departments to instil efficient and best practice purchasing and procurement processes.

In this role you will develop an effective and commercially focused procurement approach across the organisation, which ensures continuity of supply, delivers optimal value for money and fully supports the net carbon zero targets.

**Who we are seeking**:
A Fully qualified Procurement professional via MCIPS or MBA in Procurement/Supply Chain Management with significant post qualification experience

Substantive experience of working at a senior level within a procurement or supply chain including significant experience of achieving change in a complex organisation.

Experience of leading on complex contract negotiations

Excellent knowledge of key drivers towards the achievement of carbon zero operations of an organisation
