About the RoleReporting to the Head of Procurement, the Procurement Officer will act as the general contact point within the Procurement function assisting stakeholders by dealing with queries and providing support and advice.The Procurement Officer will positively contribute to the procurement function by promoting procurement activity, administration of Queen Mary electronic tender and contracts management system, as well as supporting low value contracts.The role is responsible for coordinating and applying good procurement procedures and techniques to meet the business objectives of Queen Mary with professional competence.Candidates must be able to demonstrate their eligibility to work in the UK in accordance with the Immigration, Asylum and Nationality Act 2006.
