As **Sales & Customer Service Administrator **you will be based within the Sales Order Department with the primary focus of providing an end to end sales ordering process that guarantees an efficient and consistent customer ordering service.

You will be expected to improve and streamline the current sales ordering process by using an automated system whereby the current production plan will be generated. You will have ultimate responsibility for the preparation of the production plan and its distribution to the production team in an accurate and timely form.

**Your Duties**:

- Ensuring a comprehensive sales order processing service is carried out on a day to day basis to include, entering, validating and monitoring of all customer orders to ensure customer orders are right first time
- Compiling account reports on an agreed basis and as and when necessary
- Ensuring that sales orders are filed accordingly and easily accessible
- Providing an excellent customer query support service as required
- Liaise with purchasing, preparing reports regarding stock levels on a regular basis as required by the management team
- Assisting the sales department with preparation for management meeting presentation, including gaining figures from other departments as necessary.
- Answering all calls in a timely courteous manner and redirecting to the appropriate person
- Responding to general enquiries, determining services required and advising callers about the appropriate department and contact
- Receiving visitors in a courteous and helpful manner, establishing their identity and notifying relevant contact of their arrival
- Referring or redirecting visitors to appropriate personnel/location promptly in accordance with organisational procedures
- Recording messages accurately and clearly and passing promptly to the correctly identified recipient
- Ensuring that reception area for which the post-holder is responsible is tidy and free of Health & Safety related hazards e.g deliveries or equipment
- Receiving and signing for all goods delivered to reception and notifying the addressee of arrival
- Undertaking general administration tasks in accordance with the post to include:

- Maintaining and updating the customer and supplier databases for the distribution of mail-shots or other promotional material
- Undertaking postal duties to include weighing of specific items and arranging correct postal charge
- Assisting with all administration activities within the department

**Required Skills and Competencies**
- Excellent communicator - both written and oral
- Strong commercial awareness and business acumen
- Highly energetic, enthusiastic and creative
- Excellent planning and organising skills
- IT Literate
- Full, unrestricted driving licence and flexible with travelling (UK & Ireland)
