**FULL-TIME HR/ADMIN ASSISTANT**

**An exciting career opportunity has arisen for a Full-Time HR/Admin Assistant to join our team and be part of our online operation based in Biggleswadeto help assist in the running of the Human Resources & Administration departments**

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a new and exciting division of a well-established business.

CEF (City Electrical Factors) is a private limited company established in 1951 and is one of the UK’s leading Electrical Wholesalers. As well as 394 branches throughout the UK, the company also has branches in Australia, Canada, Spain and the USA and isa constantly expanding worldwide business.

CEF launched its On-line website division in Jan 2015 and due to the success of this division we are now looking for an additional **Full-Time HR/Admin Assistant**.

**Hours of work will be Monday to Friday 8.00am to 5.30pm (some degree of flexibility may be required)**

This position will be based at our facility in Biggleswade, on a Full-Time basis.

Responsibilities will include:

- Processing all HR administration to include absence management.
- Issue new starter contracts & process leavers paperwork.
- Maintain employee records & files.
- Liaise with employment agencies to arrange Interviews.
- Managing holiday requests, rotas, calendars & diaries.
- Dealing with day to day staff issues.
- Daily updating of reports
- To undertake any additional admin duties as required.
- General office duties

Skills, Knowledge, Qualification and Experience
- Must have experience with Microsoft programmes such as word, Excel and Outlook
- Previous experience in HR essential
- Strong work ethic and initiative.
- Have ability to deal appropriately with sensitive & confidential information.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Must be dependable, able to follow instructions & respond to management direction.
- Enjoy working with people and be able to work as part of a team.

Full training will be provided internally on our own in-house computer system.

Successful applicants will need to be motivated, enthusiastic and hard working with a positive and friendly attitude.
