Overview

RLB is a major international property and construction consultant, currently embarking on an exciting expansion journey with challenging growth plans to meet our 2030 strategy.Our market leading Building Inspector / Building Surveying teams are already well established and respected throughout the UK. We are now looking to build upon this success and to accelerate our expansion of our existing European team.

RLB proactively manage and undertake surveys; formulate designs and specifications; administer projects and programmes. They also provide various other bespoke services to ensure our clients estates remain well maintained and achieve their full potential.

Overview of RoleWe are currently recruiting a Building Surveying (Building Inspector) Lead based in our Amsterdam office, to coordinate with our RLB alliance partners in Europe. It is an amazing opportunity to work on large projects with blue chip international clients.

Key Responsibilities

To build strong relationships across all of the RLB Europe Alliance partners

To take responsibility for building-up the service stream to include pre-acquisition surveys; defect diagnosis; specification writing and contract administration.

Liaise with RLB UK to share resources and technical procedures;
To offer an exemplar survey service that is proactive; professional and using the latest technology;
To support business objectives of delivering value for money in all circumstances

To coordinate process with offices and clients in Europe

To carry out assigned duties efficiently and in accordance with processes and procedures

Comply with established procurement/commercial/contractual strategies

Take personal responsibility for complying with Health & Safety standards

Previous experience in a similar, client facing role

Degree in Real Estate, Building Surveying or equivalent

Ability to successfully manage complex projects in a proactive and diligent manner

Track record in project management of projects from inception to completion

Evidence of working with multiple stakeholders

Able to build long-term relationships

Experience working with teams and managing projects by prioritising workloads and delivering deadlines
