**About the Role**:
As the Head of Business Studies, you will be instrumental in shaping the curriculum and enhancing the learning experience to ensure that all students achieve their potential. Your role will involve:
Developing and leading a robust Business Studies curriculum that is both challenging and engaging.
Inspiring and motivating students through passionate teaching and insightful knowledge of the business world.
Managing and leading a team of dedicated professionals, fostering an environment of continuous improvement and innovation.
Collaborating with other departments to integrate business education across the curriculum.
Monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of the teaching and learning within the department.
Engaging with external businesses and organizations to enhance the educational experience and provide real-world learning opportunities for students.
- A qualified teacher status (QTS) with a degree in Business Studies or a related field.
- Proven experience in teaching Business Studies at secondary school level, including A-level.
- Previous leadership experience or a strong readiness to step into a leadership role.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- A commitment to professional development and staying current with educational research and business trends.
