The environment is collaborative and supportive, with a strong focus on professional development and client care.Job DescriptionAs Head of Department, you will:Provide strategic leadership and direction for the Wills, Trusts & Probate TeamOversee a broad range of private client matters, including complex wills, trusts, probate, estate planning, and elderly client adviceManage and develop a team of solicitors and legal executives, supporting their professional growth and ensuring high standards of client carePlay a key role in business development, client relationship management, and the ongoing success of the departmentCollaborate with the wider firm's leadership to contribute to firm-wide strategy and initiativesMaintain and enhance the department's reputation for technical excellence and compassionate client serviceThe Successful ApplicantThe ideal candidate will:Be a qualified solicitor or chartered legal executive with significant experience in private client law, ideally with previous leadership or management experienceDemonstrate a strong track record in wills, trusts, probate, estate planning, and elderly client mattersPossess excellent technical knowledge and a commitment to maintaining high professional standardsBe an inspiring leader, able to motivate and develop a team, and foster a collaborative and positive working environmentHave strong business development skills and the ability to build and maintain client relationshipsBe commercially astute, strategic, and proactive in identifying opportunities for growth and improvementHold or be working towards the STEP qualification (preferred but not essential)What's on OfferCompetitive salary package ranging from £75,000 to £80,000 per annum.Permanent role within a respected professional services firm in Epping.Opportunities for career progression and leadership development.Engaging work environment with a focus on delivering client excellence.Comprehensive support for professional growth and skill enhancement.If you are ready to take the next step in your legal career as a Private Clients Solicitor Head of Department, apply today to join this reputable firm in Epping.
