**The Role**

Key Responsibilities will include:

- **Technical.** Prepare Transport Statements and Assessments, Travel Plans, and transport chapters of Environmental Statements.
- **Lead Projects**: Manage various tasks and projects and ensure effective communication with the team.
- **Client Engagement**: Represent the company at meetings with clients, planners, architects, and contractors.
- **Design Development**: Provide input to site access designs and masterplans, considering all modes of transport.
- **Quality Management**: Follow the company’s Quality Management System (QMS) processes on all projects.
- **Resource Management**: Manage project resources efficiently.
- **Training and Development**: Provide technical support and training to Transport Planners and Graduates.

The ideal person will:

- Hold a relevant degree (or equivalent) and be actively working towards a professional qualification
- Have significant experience as a Transport planner, ideally in a similar consultancy environment
- Be comfortable managing multiple client expectations and contributing to project meetings.
- Be commercially aware and have some understanding of project finances
- Be numerate, able to analyse datasets and use junction modelling software such as JUNCTIONS and LinSig (or equivalent)
- Have an appreciation of current design standards, be able to lead design reviews and undertake basic design work using AutoCAD (or Equivalent)
