Transport Planner based in Manchester working alongside a team of 5 for the same day transportation of inbound containers. You will also be responsible for keeping the client up to date on the status of the transport operation.

My client is a leading logistics and transport provider, working with over 3,000 different customers globally with over 7000 employees, spanning across 80 different countries, with over 30 sites across the UK.

**Description**

The key responsibilities for the Transport Planner role are:

- Planning same day routes for containers in a fast paced B2B operations
- Liaise with external stakeholder and customers to ensure full customer satisfaction
- Be the middleman between the drivers and front office
- React to any changing situations that develop on a day to day basis
- Reporting directly to the Transport Manager
- Ensure a smooth transition when allocating drivers to vehicles and loads

**Job Offer**

The offered salary for the role of Transport Planner is up to £32,000 plus benefits.
