Experienced Live-in Domestic Couple for Hnw Estate

We have a fantastic opportunity for a highly experienced, hardworking, and talented Couple to support a HNW family of five on their large country estate in Middlesex. The estate, comprised of a newly refurbished 10-bedroom main house, guest house, gate houseand numerous outbuildings and garages, serves as the family’s secondary residence - they usually spend summer months and Christmas holidays at the estate and visit throughout the year on an ad-hoc basis.

Working as a Couple, you will hit the ground running to maintain the upkeep of this extensive estate and grounds with swimming pool and lake to exacting standards. Overseeing all functions of housekeeping, laundry, ironing, service, cooking and general maintenance,you will also be responsible for the general management of the Gardeners and Cleaner and ensure that the property is secured at all times. Liaising with the office and dealing with local contractors and tradesmen, excellent communication and organisationalskills are required for this role.

Daily duties will include menu planning and shopping for groceries, preparing family style meals and managing and working alongside the Cleaner, performing general housekeeping duties such as dusting, vacuuming, laundry, and ironing. Further duties willinclude welcoming and greeting visitors, serving at the table, and assisting with occasional events hosted at the estate, as well as being responsible for dealing with any minor defects in and around the property. Responsible for the maintenance of the family’sprestige vehicles and driving them to and from appointments, events, and the airport, a confident driver is essential for this role.

A live-in role, you will have your own private 3-bedroom detached house, as well as a company car provided for work purposes. Usual working hours are Monday-Friday from 8am-5pm and Saturdays from 8am-1pm, but flexibility is required when the family are inresidence. The family have no pets and are looking to appoint a child-friendly Couple to remain with them long-term.

**DUTIES TO INCLUDE**:

- Management of all household laundry, including clothing, fine fabrics, linens etc.
- Ironing, pressing, folding, and appropriately hanging/storing all items
- Daily cleaning of the property, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, making beds, changing bed linen, and ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness are maintained throughout the household
- Polishing antiques, marble, and silverware; flower arranging
- Menu planning, provisioning, and taking stock of all household items
- Cooking family style meals for small to medium groups (for larger events, a Chef will be hired)
- Greeting and welcoming guests, laying tables, and providing table service, incl. silver service
- Ensuring there is sufficient security and protection at the estate at all times
- Maintaining accurate records of suppliers, expenses, visitors etc.
- Liaising with the office, and local contractors and tradesmen
- Chauffeuring the family and maintenance of prestige cars
- General management of estate staff and overseeing daily duties
- Taking care of any minor defects and repairs in and around the house

**ESSENTIAL CRITERIA**:

- Previous experience in a Couples role supporting a HNW family
- Very high attention to detail

- Excellent communication and management skills
- Good standard of written and spoken English
- Trustworthy and handles confidential information appropriately
- Longevity as demonstrated by previous employment
- Able to prioritise and multitask effectively
- Full, clean driving license
- Right to work within the UK
