**Graduate Building Surveyor - Newcastle - £25,000 to £35,000 plus benefits**

We are looking for a Graduate Building Surveyor, who is close to sitting their APC, or someone that is newly qualified

**What you will be doing**

During a Monday to Friday working week, based in the amazing Newcastle office, and working alongside a Senior Building Surveyor, in summary but not limited to, you will be
- Undertaking both residential and commercial property acquisition surveys
- Defect inspections, dilapidations and project work
- Prepare schedules of dilapidations
- Prepare schedules of condition
- Schedule works, tender and manage projects
- Adaptable to take on new service streams to meet client demand
- Communicating clearly with clients and advising on defects and repairs
- Working with a range of building types from different periods, including listed buildings

**What you will have**
- A RICS accredited degree, ideally in Building Surveying
- About to complete or have completed APC
- A good understanding of a range of building and how they are constructed
- Established interpersonal, negotiation and communication skills
- A commercially aware outlook, with an ability to network
