As the Content Marketing Assistant, you will be tasked with producing engaging written material throughout our websites, conducting research to generate insightful blog posts, and sourcing informative and accurate data, images and videos from our suppliers. Your primary focus will be to improve our search engine optimisation ranking through the creation of high-quality, informative content.

Given the sometimes technical nature of electrical products, we are seeking a talented copywriter who can accurately interpret technical product specifications and translate that information into easily digestible content for our e-commerce customers. This is an excellent opportunity for a marketing professional looking to expand their skill set and grow their career in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Creating engaging written content for product pages
- Creating insightful blog posts
- Conducting keyword research to inform SEO efforts
- Maintaining and updating website content via our CMS to ensure accuracy and relevance
- Proofreading all content to ensure live content is optimised
- Carrying out research and gathering media in forms of PDF’s, images and videos

**Skills**
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proactive, highly organised, and has an eye for detail
- Strong understanding of how to create content for the purposes of SEO
- Able to conduct independent and thorough research
- Basic knowledge of HTML
- A passion for content writing
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
