Head of Events and Marketing

**Salary: £48,000 per annum Full Time Equivalent**
**Actual pro rata salary £28,800 per annum**
**Location: Based in London Bridge and moving to new offices in the London area with some opportunity to work remotely.**
This is an exciting and wide-ranging role for an experienced strategic, creative, and hands on events and marketing professional, with a passion for creating compelling content and communications strategies.
WPF Therapy is looking for someone who has expertise in designing and implementing integrated communications strategies that will resonate with a diverse set of stakeholders. The role forms part of the Executive Team, reporting to the CEO and would suit someone with a good understanding and experience of marketing in the education sector, with a passion for equality and inclusion, and who is confident and enthusiastic about all things marketing and communications.
This role will develop and deliver creative, innovative, and effective multi-platform marketing, engagement, and profile-raising strategies for WPF Therapy. This will include showcasing our impact and success stories.

**Reports To**: CEO
**Main Accountabilities**
- To work with the CEO to evolve and implement our marketing and communications strategy across the organisation both internally and externally.
- To be accountable for all aspects of events, workshops, CPD, and external communications through social media, advertising, brand, content, network and external profile building, reporting to the Marketing, Communications and Fundraising Sub-Committee and Board of Trustees.
- To develop and execute a range of marketing campaigns to drive education, awareness and engagement through creative content and social media marketing.
- To develop our social media platforms and source/generate content to support training and clinic numbers and develop the profile of WPF Therapy in the sector.
- To develop, promote and protect the WPF Therapy brand and ensure all channels are consistently on brand/message.
- To manage the design and development and production of organisational publications e.g., Annual Report, leaflets, strategic plan etc
- To support the wider team with design, communications, and marketing support
- To act as the press office, dealing with enquiries from press and media, acting as the spokesperson, generating press and media interest around stories.
- To monitor the impact and effectiveness of the charity’s marketing and communications plans and activities, including evaluation of individual campaigns where appropriate.

**Experience and Knowledge**
- Proven experience of designing and implementing successful marketing campaigns across Google, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and Twitter.
- High level of confidence using Google Analytics
- Hands-on experience with website management.
- Proven experience of developing and executing engaging communications campaigns with compelling content to a wide range of audiences (including young people).
- Demonstrable success of implementing content-led marketing and communications strategies with clear measures of success and impact.
- Strategic thinking with the ability to form clear and strong recommendations.
- Ability to build and nurture strong and influential relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Track record of leading a high-performing and impactful team.
- Ability to understand, construct and maintain consistent messaging for the brand.
- Experience of briefing designers and understanding design and print processes
**Skills and Personal Qualities**
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written.
- Ability to lead, motivate and support professional, managerial and administrative staff and volunteers, some full-time, most part-time and to challenge performance when appropriate.
- Good ability to analyse information and to report effectively.
- Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage a demanding administrative workload.
- Commitment to promoting and maintaining high professional standards whilst upholding the charity’s vision and values.
- Excellent IT skills, including Office 365, Outlook and Excel. Able to work online via Microsoft Teams and Zoom.
- Enthusiasm for developing with the organisation to meet and promote any changing organisational requirements.
