A position has arisen for a Facilities Manager within a highly regarded commercial organisation based in Oxfordshire. This is a key role managing facilities services and contracts for a permanent placement.

Your duties will include:

- Assisting and deputising for the Senior Facilities Manager who organises and manages the facilities management teams and services, helping to develop the Facilities services in a coherent manner
- Managing and developing the current Facilities team to ensure high service delivery standards are maintained, a consistent and professional service is provided, and to seek improvements as necessary, and to ensure value for money
- Budgetary management for the specific facilities and services budgets, being accountable to Estates Services and relevant customers
- Reviewing local existing services to ensure that the most appropriate service delivery method is used and that value for money is achieved through consolidating procurement where possible; and agreed with building user representatives, where appropriate
- Managing the interface between the ESFM teams, particularly between the Helpdesk and the House Team, in addition to the interface between Buildings Users, Senior Officers, Customers and Estates Services in particular the DLO, as appropriate
- Acting as a local expert in facilities management matters and provide professional help and guidance to others, as appropriate
- Previous facilities management experience within commercial environments
- Good understanding of Health & Safety issues relevant to the workplace
