**Job Purpose**:
As Internal Sales Specialist you will become a specialist within the business unit and will be working with allocated accounts. The role will include handling vendor pricing and managing all quotes and closing orders so you will need to have a proactive nature and be excellent at building relationships.

**Responsibilities**:

- Build Excellent customer and vendor sales relationships through proactive engagement and demonstrable specialist product knowledge under supervision
- Generate new business opportunities by planning outbound calls to customers and can have a general conversation around a solution/product area
- Achieve monthly/quarterly Revenue and Margin targets
- Proactively develop relationships with key internal and external contacts
- Engages in active inside selling by using a number of different sources to gain information on customers and utilises this to maximise call potential and outcomes
- Provide, sell and negotiate product information, pricing, special offers and promotions
- Ensure Tech Data maintains service levels agreements with customers
- Attainment of Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) such as customer engagement
- Provides accurate and timely quotations
- Generate and own a pipeline of deals
- Manage customer backorder expectations and reporting

**Knowledge Skills and Experience**
- Numerate with good attention to detail
- Excellent telephone manner
- Priority management and planning skills
- Strive to achieve set targets
- Understands Sales Process
- Effective Communication Skills
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook
- IT industry knowledge would be desirable but not essential

**Salary**: £18,600.00-£26,040.00 per year
