**Job Title**:Know Your Client (KYC) Embedded Risk Team and Regulatory Response Specialist

The Client Lifecycle Management Embedded Risk Team (ERT) is responsible for ensuring that an effective framework is in place to manage, monitor and reduce risk, to challenge the decisions being taken in the assessment and remediation of risk and ensure that we are aligned to the firms’ policy and guidelines in regard to all aspects of the risk framework.
You will work closely with global peers to help provide a complete picture of the risk profile, ensuring that handoffs and dependencies across functions/regions are transparent and understood. Engages regularly with the first line processing teams and in collaboration with Regulatory Management Group, AFC, Compliance, DCO, Business & Other 2nd line functions to ensure full transparency and governance of risk.

**Your key responsibilities**
- Governance**:
- **Ensure that an effective, embedded and consistently applied governance structure is in place
- Key Risk Indicators (KRI)**:
- Audit Self-Identified Issue (SII) & Incident processes**:
- **Ensure compliance to the firm audit policy, firm SII guidance and incident escalation process through training, support guidance and challenge
- Facilitate management with adequate reporting and governance, to ensure zero overdue items and no last min extensions are required and perform pre-closure submission review and validation
- Risk Culture**:
- **Design and deliver a risk culture improvement programme to promote transparency, awareness
- Work in collaboration with multiple first and second line functions
**Your skills and experience**
- Substantial and relevant experience in a global banking environment. Experience of KYC operations is preferable
- Exposure to 1st Line Non-Financial Risk Management within Chief Operating Office (COO) type function
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong organisational and administrative skills and the ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines
- Client focused approach and ability to react quickly to changing demands
