Electricity North West has an exciting opportunity for a collaborative Trainee Fitter to join our welcoming and inclusive team in Salford. This full-time Trainee Fitter role offers a salary of £29,579 to £31,211 and excellent benefits.

The Trainee Fitter will be responsible for the maintenance and inspection of the Electrical Plant at ENWL High Voltage Substations. You'll also be trained in various skills, including but not limited to the installation and maintenance of an Electrical plant within a distribution substation, inspection of an Electrical plant and associated Equipment within a distribution substation, and inspection of LV feeder pillars and cable link boxes.

If you were already in this Trainee Fitter role, you could expect to:

- Install, maintain, and repair the electrical plant within a distribution substation
- Read technical diagrams
- Perform general maintenance on substation equipment
- Inspect the electrical plant and complete an inspection report
- Troubleshoot electrical issues using appropriate testing devices

We are looking for a Trainee Fitter with experience working in a similar industry and completion of an electrician apprenticeship or similar (desirable). You will also require:

- Valid driver's license
- Ability to work alone and within a team
- Methodical with high attention to detail
- Ability to use a wide range of tools
- Good communication skills
