**Account Manager**

**£25,000 - £30,000 + Commission**

**The Company**

My client is a national materials business based in Reading who due to business growth is looking to recruit an experienced Account Manager to join the on a full-time permanent basis.

This is an office-based position working within a team of 5 Account Managers.

This is a traditional account management role where you act at the first point of contact for valuable accounts.

**Responsibilities**:

- Internal Account Management
- Sales order processing
- Initiating contact with lapsed accounts
- Ability to influence others
- Inbound customer service
- Outbound calls to prospect business
- Meeting KPI’s and qualifying prospects
- Daily communication
- Sales admin / order processing
- Reporting
- CRM use
- Attend client meetings as and when required
- Other ad hoc duties in line with the role

**What we need**:

- Previous account management experience
- The ability to ‘sell through service’
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal
- The ability to communicate at all levels
- Excellent customer service, face to face and telephone
- Experience of managing both small and large accounts
