PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
Production of the monthly management accounts for the UK entity. Consolidation and review of Group’s international accounts.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Production of UK management accounts and reporting:

- Prepare UK accounts
- Monthly balance sheet reconciliations for all accounts.
- Review and analysis of month end variances
- Review monthly reports
- Consolidate intercompany accounts
- Review international subsidiary accounts
- Agree Intercompany balances
- Production of consolidated accounts
- Prepare Group reporting and production of monthly pack
- Lead year-end audit for the UK and Group entities for management accounts queries.
- Review manual credit notes and invoices
- Review cash forecast and sales reports
- Provide financial information to internal departments where required and help the departments understand the information provided.
- Support UK and overseas finance departments, where necessary
- Provide cover in the department during times of sickness and holiday; to include receivables and payables.
- Other adhoc projects as required.

KEY PERFORMANCE CRITERIA:

- Produce UK accounts within 4 days, with full review on day 5.
- Produce Group accounts by calendar day 9
- Weekly Group cash forecast
- Ability to work on own initiative, within a team environment.
- Accuracy & attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritise workloads to meet reporting deadlines.
- Positive interaction with all colleagues over all levels of the business.
- Demonstrate a good understanding of the UK business.
- Illustrate ideas to improve and implement new working processes.
- Gains confidence and respect of others and acts as role model.

**PROFESSIONAL/VOCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS OR SPECIFIC EXPERIENCE REQUIRED**:

- Qualified ACCA or CIMA
- High level of knowledge of MS Office and Excel.
- Experience of working in an international environment.
- Able to display a high level of organisational skills and attention to detail.
