SF Recruitment are recruiting for a Warehouse Team Leader for our client located in Long Eaton on a temporary 6 month basis. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to work for a growing business who offer excellent rewards and development opportunities.

Monday - Friday, 8.30am - 5.00pm. (flexibility required)

Main Responsibilities:

- Already be a leader of warehouse staff understanding the importance of motivating and developing your team, either as a team leader already or senior warehouse operative.
- Experience of FMCG manufacturing.
- A good understanding of quality control procedures and protocols.
- Knowledge of food safety hygiene and Health and Safety requirements in food manufacturing.
- Have knowledge in continuous improvement, able to coach and mentor your team in lean management principles and strive to uphold that culture.
- Be an ambassador of health and safety, ensuring your team stay safe through encouragement, education, training and example.
- Have excellent knowledge and experience of modern warehouse management systems and operations including planning workload
- Be customer focused, with excellent communication, organisation, planning and time management skills.
- Experience on Counterbalance FLT trucks is desirable.

Skills and Experience:

- Leadership in a similar role or within a FMCG environment.
- Ability to manage, develop and motivate people.
- Self confident and professional attitude.
- Excellent English written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent personal organisation skills and customer focused.
- IT literate including competent use of Word, Outlook and Excel.
- Experience of investigation and disciplinary processes and meetings.
- Able to meet changing and challenging demands with enthusiasm.

You should be immediately available or coming to the end of your current contract to be considered for this role.
