Trade Counter Sales Assistant

Helping ensure the warehouse is stocked with the top, bestselling items for trade customers, ready to be picked and replenished as sales are made online or in store and collected at the counter.

This is a hybrid role, you will be working both in the warehouse, and supporting at the trade sales counter. You will be expected to ensure your time is split to meet the needs of the business and customer.

- Warehouse _
- Help ensure the on site warehouse is stocked with suitable bestselling items for trade
- Facilitate/fulfil the customer collections on site, being on hand to support and guide the trade customers where required.
- Work with the team to help monitor levels of stock, understand the stock profile and arrange replenishment where needed.
- Help keep a clean, tidy and well organised warehouse.
- Develop a high level of product and stock knowledge
- Accurately pick orders and deliver to packing area for customers to receive.
- Receive goods from our drivers, check off and put away - ensuring all accurately recorded on the system.

**Trade Counter**
- Spend time on the Trade counter, supporting with customer sales and enquiries.
- Confidently able to support customers with a high standard of service, whilst being aware of our product terms and conditions.
- As your knowledge grows you will be expected to advise customers on the best products for them and upsell where possible
- General customer service and after sales care where required.
- Resolve customer queries on site where possible.
- Where a customer query cannot be resolved on site build relationships with customer service to ensure correct routing of customer queries.

**A bit about you**
- An interest in bathroom and plumbing is desirable
- Strong sales and customer service skills
- Able to work within a team
- Flexible attitude
- Good attention to detail
- Pride in maintaining a clean organised work environment
- Ability to self-motivate and work independent of direct supervision
- Able to perform physical duties for length of shift
- Strong communication skills
- Full Driving licence (6 points max)

**Working Hours**
40 hours per week - Monday - Saturday (with day off by rota)
(7.30am - 4.30pm to support trade needs)
