We're seeking a dedicated **Warehouse Farm Operative** to contribute to our essential operations.

**The Role**

As a Warehouse Farm Operative, you'll be crucial to our mushroom cultivation process, from harvest to distribution. Your responsibilities will include

**Farm Tasks**:

- Carefully **harvesting crops** at the optimal time.
- **Monitoring crops** for contamination and pests, ensuring their health.
- **Slicing, packing, and preparing** mushrooms for distribution, adhering to company and regulatory standards.
- **Maintaining Soil Association certification** requirements, including accurate record-keeping.

**Administrative Duties**:

- Assisting with **record-keeping and paperwork**, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- **Maintenance & Upkeep**:

- Keeping the **warehouse and farm clean and safe** to high standards.
- Helping with the general **upkeep of farm equipment, tools, and machinery**.
- **General Warehouse Duties**:

- Supporting with **stock organization and management**.
- Assisting with **shipping, receiving, and storing goods**.
- Occasionally assisting with **picking and packing** for UFI's fulfillment center.

**Your Shift Pattern**

This is a **full-time position, 40 hours per week**, with the following schedule:

- **Sunday**: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
- **Monday**: 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM
- **Tuesday**: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
- **Wednesday**: 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM
- **Thursday**: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

**What We're Looking For**
- **Experience**: Previous experience in farming or warehouse work is a plus, but not required - **full training will be provided** Knowledge of organic farming practices is also beneficial.
- **Skills**: Strong **attention to detail**, ability to **follow processes and procedures**, and basic **computer skills** for record-keeping.
- **Physicality**: Ability to perform **physical tasks** and work in indoor conditions.
- **Team Player**: A positive attitude and **good communication skills** are essential.
- **Hygiene**:Exceptional personal hygiene** is crucial for this food handling business.
- **Health & Safety**: As a health and safety requirement of this role, you **must be able to wear a respirator and/or face mask for the duration of your shift** while working in PPE.
