The Supply Chain Planner role works in partnership with the Supply Chain Analyst, to offer proactive and efficient order management support, to ensure that we have the right stock in the right place at the right time. **About the role**

In this role you will be responsible for placing and managing all stock orders for our uniform and sportswear categories in line with requirements specified by the analysts, to drive forward our vision of revolutionising school wear.

You will check, process, and query, where necessary, all order confirmations with suppliers and administer all inbound related processes to smoothly monitor in the flow of stock at the correct times into the correct warehouses.

You will ensure that all back orders are delivered in a timely manner and any supply chain related issues are raised through the correct communication channels to make sure that all key stakeholders are proactively informed and are kept up to date, always guaranteeing excellent service.

Working collaboratively with an analyst, you will mitigate the risk and impact to the business of any potential shortages or setbacks through your investigative day to day stock checks and ordering. You will be confident in making the right calls and capable of suggesting ways to drive improvement and overseeing the implementation of such changes.

You will be comfortable liaising and building strong working relationships with suppliers, whilst working closely with the Supply Chain Manager on a variety of departmental and companywide projects to continually raise the bar within the industry.

**About you**

Highly numerate with great attention to detail (experience of order management / inbound logistics in the retail or school wear sectors is desirable)

Able to undertake high volumes of administrative tasks whilst demonstrating a high level of accuracy.

Proactive and disciplined in their approach to problem solving.

Able to plan, prioritise and focus their workload during busy times along with having experience in working on and fulfilling various commitments simultaneously.

Fully IT literate with a strong knowledge of Excel

A positive, team-focused and encouraging individual who takes pride in playing their part in the success of the business.

**Your working hours**

We are offering a full time permanent role working Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5pm with no weekend work.

This is a hybrid role with a split of 2 days in the office and 3 days at home but with the understanding of your availability to come into the office as and when required by the business.

Our head office is located in Altrincham where we have free parking and good public transport links.
