To support and assist the Creative Therapy services for patients, families and carers across the range of Havens Hospices Services, providing planned and coordinated opportunities for patients and families experiencing emotional circumstances. Using creative and therapeutic activities as a means of improving emotional wellbeing.
- To support the Creative Therapist with the delivery of Creative Therapy activities both on a one to one and group basis.
- To encourage and help maintain effective, therapeutic relationships with patients, carers, and families to improve mental health and wellbeing through Creative Therapy.
- To promote and encourage the involvement of patients, carers, and families in creative and therapeutic activities.
- To communicate effectively with members of the multi-disciplinary team and volunteers.
- To respect and value the opinions, beliefs and individuality of patients, their families, carers, and members of staff.
- Maintaining professional boundaries whilst being empathic and sensitive to individual needs.
- Supporting the Creative Therapist with organising external activities/ entertainment / workshops.
- To communicate effectively with other members of staff.

Our specialist Care Teams can support them and their family living throughout illness, death and bereavement in the comfort of their own home and through our hospice services, Fair Havens and Little Havens.
