**The Role -**

As a Purchase Ledger Clerk, you will report to the Purchase ledger supervisor and will be responsible for processing a selection of suppliers and will focus on building lasting relationships. You will be joining a purchase ledger team of 4, the role will suit someone who both proactive and is wanting to add value to the role.

Purchase Ledger experience is essential.

Knowledge of CIS is preferable.

Your responsibilities will include
- Matching and posting a high volume of invoices.
- Proactively resolving invoice queries.
- Supplier statement reconciliation.
- Processing credit notes.
- Liaise with other departments to resolve and queries that may arise.
- Support management with any ad-hoc tasks as required.

To be considered for this role you must have experience of working within a busy purchase ledger department. You must be a confident communicator, have strong people skills and be able to prioritise and work under pressure whilst always ensuring accuracy.

Hours of work 37.5

Please note this role will initially be based at Bamberbridge but moving in the summer to the Larches near Ashton Preston

**Salary**: £22,000.00-£23,500.00 per year
