Electricians Mate

JRP work primarily within the UK water industry. Established for well over 28 years the company strives to deliver the best customer experience, with a quality ‘right first time’ approach.

The Electricians Mate will hold a semi-technical role within the company, and should set examples of excellent conduct and professionalism. For individual projects, they will report to the assigned Electrician.

Work will involve Installation of backup control unit and floats for wet wells on SPS sites, signal cabling, cable containment, control panel circuit modifications, etc across the Thames Valley.

Duties to include
- Carry out electrical installation work to BS7671 along side Electricians.
- Carry out installation, service and repair to variety of low voltage electrical control systems.
- Carry out installation of a variety of instrumentation systems, including pressure, levels, temperature and flow.
- Be PC literate and be able to demonstrate a basic background in IT skills.

- Single & Three Phase Power
- Control Panels
- Emergency Lighting
- Pumps
- Motors
- Ladder Run
- Traywork,
- SWA Cable
- Glanding

The Electricians mate will need to hold the following
- Part Electrical Qualifications
- ECS Card or CSCS Card
- Full Driving licence
