Laeso Fish Ltd delivers high quality prawns worldwide and are looking for Assistant to be accountable to the Maintenance Engineer for the maintenance and repair of the production machinery on both a proactive and reactive basis.

**EXPERIENCED PREFERRED BUT NOT ESSENTIAL AS FULL TRAINING WILL BE GIVEN.**

Duties will include, but not limited to:

- Reactive work - react to any breakdowns and assist with the repair to machinery to ensure there is little down time.
- Assist with the maintenance of a range of plant machinery.
- Assist with scheduled preventative maintenance ensuring all supplies, materials an parts are available.
- Assist to complete the appropriate records and paperwork associated with the maintenance and repairs.
- Assist with any project or installation work as required.
- Ensure you are following all quality, hygiene and safety regulations and requirements.

The duties and responsibilities in this job description are not restrictive and the post holder may be required to undertake any other duties which may be required from time to time. Any such duties should not, however, substantially change the general character of the post.

**Skills and Knowledge requirements**: (either essential or desirable)
- Understanding of hygiene and safety regulations in the factory
- Strong maintenance background
- Knowledge of Shellfish Industry equipment would be an advantage
- Numerate and Literate to follow and complete all necessary processes
- Level 3 engineering qualification HNC would be an advantage
- Ability to follow instructions.
- Flexible in working hours and able to work overtime when asked.
